Chest - Individual Ball Control Drill

The Skill

The chest turn is a way to control the ball, change direction and move past a player in one fluid motion. This is an advanced skill requiring agility, balance, and technical ability.

The Drill

To start, pass the ball into the Spot with enough power so it comes back to your chest. As the ball comes to you, jump and turn and let the ball roll across your chest so you are able to turn round in one fluid motion. Then dribble through the cones at the back. Now use your other foot to pass the ball into the Spot and repeat the drill going the opposite direction. See how many times you can do this in a minute.
