DRILLS

Round Robbin - Team Reaction Touch Drill

The Skill

The drill is about touch, control, and reactions. It's a team training drill ideal for warmup sessions and works best with around 4 players.

The Drill

The aim is to see how many times your team can pass the ball into the rebounder in one minute by taking it in turns. Start with the rebounder set up near a wall so you are not having to fetch the ball when you miss. Get your team to line up around 4m back, facing the rebounder. Start by passing the ball into the rebounder so that it comes back to the player behind, the next player does the same. The players can take as many touches as they need but the fewer touches they take the higher the score. When done well this will create a circular movement of players passing the ball on the volley. Restart the game if a player misses.
